[Oro is barking, almost obnoxiously, in the background, as Roxas' voice becomes distant.]

[Oro whimpers suddenly, and then Roxas is yelling. There's a loud slam in the background, and several moments of complete silence. It's almost as if the post has turned off, but then footsteps echo near the device. There's the soft scrape of metal, and another whimper from Oro.]
I'm sorry. I promised I'd-
[The rest of what's said is mostly muted out because of the distance between the boy and the communicator, until...]

[There's a choked noise, and Oro begins to howl loud enough, and close enough, to the device to successfully mask the loud cry Roxas gives just before the post clicks off.]
