[Oro is barking, almost obnoxiously, in the background, as Roxas' voice becomes distant.]
Give him back to me. Give me back my friend!
[Oro whimpers suddenly, and then Roxas is yelling. There's a loud slam in the background, and several moments of complete silence. It's almost as if the post has turned off, but then footsteps echo near the device. There's the soft scrape of metal, and another whimper from Oro.]
I'm sorry. I promised I'd-
[The rest of what's said is mostly muted out because of the distance between the boy and the communicator, until...]
Please, come back. Please.
[There's a choked noise, and Oro begins to howl loud enough, and close enough, to the device to successfully mask the loud cry Roxas gives just before the post clicks off.]

[He slowly nods, sitting back.]

[Looks down and then looks back up.]
He'll wake up someday. And that's...okay. That's good.

...Yeah. Maybe he'll wake up like I did.
[Action]
[Tries to smile, to make him feel better. But she thinks that if he wakes up, will he be like Roxas, who gained memories of someone else, or will it be like her, who began losing memories.]
He'll be okay.
[Action]
[Slowly, he nods, looking at her.]
I just...hope so.
[Action]
[She hesitates for a moment but its Roxas, she shouldn't feel nervous to talk to him.]
New memories can be made. And that...could be good. Maybe all he needs is sleep. And then he can come back normal.
[Action]
...I know. I just-
It just hurts.
[Action]
[Watches him for a moment and then leans forward and hugs him tight. She doesn't know what to do, but she can try.]
I'm sorry about your friend.
[Action]
[He hugs her back, feeling more at home than he has in a long while, sitting with her.]
He'll come back.
[Action]
[She smiles a little and pulls back so she can look at his face and nod]
Yes he will.
