[The video clicks on to the heavy panting of a certain direwolf. Roxas is laughing softly and the wolf is whimpering, pleased.]

Good boy. Come on, get it. One more. Go... get it!

[There's the sounds of splashing water and an even louder howl several moments later, followed by the boy's voice again.]

Good boy. Give. ...Come on, drop it. Drop it. Oro! Oro, come here. ...That's it. Good boy. Very good. Drop it.

[Just that quickly, Roxas gasps and the wolf lets out a loud and threatening howl. The communicator drops. The feed clicks to video, showing Roxas at an odd angle on the sand and what looks like faint lights in the distance.]

...Wow. So this is what it looked like. It's -

[He pauses.]

Oro, come on boy. Come on! [Roxas disappears from the screen, the wolf barking but staying close to the communicator. The blond comes back only to grab the communicator and turn it off.]

[Oro is sitting happily on the raft, barking as they approach. His tail starts wagging as Naminé comes up, but he's easily giving Riqis the evil eye.]

[Riqis carries his knapsack with him when he jogs up, eyes glued to the sky overhead. Its stuffed full of 'supplies' and takeaway memories, along with an extra burlap sack of coconuts carried at his side]

[He tells the dog dryly, not quite dumb enough to treat the direwolf to the same playful headruffle he gives Roxas. Besides...he supposes he should be at least a little grateful to the one who recovered him...even if he gets the impression Oro sort of hates him.]

[Naminé doesn't take long to get there. The first thing she does is lean down and let Oro sniff her hand, before patting his head gently.]

Good boy...

[Looking up, she smiles at Roxas.]

He's sweet.

[He smiles at both of them. Oro is ecstatic to be petted, but his ears flatten as Riqis approaches.]

Yeah. He's Terra's. He's a good wolf.

[If the replica had ears that could flatten too, he probably would in return at the wolf, stalking past them confidently toward the half-beached raft, flinging his takeaway treasures upon it and wading out to his ankles, the sky's lights winking out all around.

He then motions to Namine, drawing from his pocket a small seashell whistle on a leather cord, settling on one end of the raft to adjust it's length.]

Nobody's told me what to expect there in terms of quality of life. Shelter isn't readily available, okay. But I like being prepared. So.. water, food, that sort of thing. How available is it there?

There's some space available in the Sanctuary. We're running out of room at the Lux, though. I'm working on repairing another building too.

There's a fresh river nearby. There's also animals in the woods and Lobstrosities at the beach if you want food.
